OFFICE POLICIES

Office Hours

Our clinical office hours in our Taylorsville office are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Wednesdays from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Our office is closed on weekends and major holidays as well as times when the doctor and staff are attending continuing education programs.

Appointments

Patients are seen by appointment only. Please call in advance so that we may reserve a time for you. The Taylorsville office number is (801) 262-3777. We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately. If possible, please give us 24 hours notice. This courtesy on your part makes it possible for us to give your appointment to another patient.

Emergency Care

We reserve a limited amount of time each day so that emergency patients may be scheduled quickly. If you have a problem requiring emergency treatment, please call us as early in the day as possible.

Should you have an emergency after hours or on weekends, call the Taylorsville office, push 9 on your touch tone phone to enter the emergency line, leave a message along with your phone number and someone from the office will return your call.

Safety seems to be on everyone’s mind. So, we want you to know about our infection control and sterilization procedures. While these procedures are not new to our office, we have continually upgraded as new guidelines and equipment has become available. Our goal is to provide the highest level of safety and for you to feel comfortable knowing that these procedures Are being performed on a routine basis.

They include:

BARRIER CONTROLS:

Recommended by OSHA, Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Includes use of face masks, protective eyewear or face shields, protective outer clothing and new gloves for each patient.

HEAT STERILIZATION:

All pliers, tool, and instruments are sterilized after each patient killing all organisms with heat.

INDIVIDUAL SET-UPS:

Sealed bags of sterilized instruments and pliers are placed on individual tray set-ups with a protective plastic tray sleeve cover and opened just prior to individual use.

DISPOSABLE ITEMS:

These are used whenever possible and are always discarded once used or exposed to the treatment environment.

DISINFECTANTS:

These are applied to chairs, counter tops and other surface areas in all treatment areas.

We are totally committed to staying current with the latest in infection control, sterilization guidelines and equipment. When you visit our office you can feel comfortable and confident that your health and the health of your family is protected.
